For as long as I remember, I always had a flair for embellishing the world around me, but when choosing higher education, I followed my talent for foreign languages and decided on Italian Studies. After graduating, I traveled to Italy, where I developed a strong appreciation for architecture and design. I also worked for a company dealing with iconic furniture and lighting, labeled with names like Philippe Starck, Charles and Ray Eames, Verner Panton, Ingo Maurer, etc. This made me realize that creativity is not limited to fine arts, but extends also to utilitarian objects and spaces. I finally understood that my dream is to have a career that is both creative and practical at the same time – just like me.

A few years after moving to Louisiana, I graduated from Louisiana State University as Valedictorian with Summa Cum Laude honors, receiving a Bachelor of Interior Design degree and numerous design awards.

What distinguishes me from others is my international perspective and diversified experience. I am a strong believer in client-oriented design enhancing people’s well-being. I like to think about myself that, as a widely traveled, open minded person with strong communication skills and enthusiasm, I can be a valuable resource for our clients and a resourceful team member. In my professional life, I have been involved in variety of aspects of projects, including programming, space planning, design, and production of construction documents. I am also involved in local interior design community as IIDA (International Interior Design Association) Delta Regional Chapter Baton Rouge City Center Director.
